Cane(?) spindle consisting of a central rod, and 2 movable, triangular frames. The 2 frames are made from 2 long cane(?) slats which are attached to the rod by 2 shorter slats each. A two-tone woollen thread is twisted around the rod and each of the 4 long slats at the ends closest to the rod. 2 additional flat piece of cane (threaded onto the rod as well) appear to have the function of securing the spread triangular frames in place.
