The Horniman Museum will be closed from 24-26 December. The Horniman Gardens will be closed 25 December only.
Wooden churn. Narrower at the bottom. growing wider towards the brim, formed of staves held together by iron circles, without any ornamentation. It is composed of two pieces: the churn itself and the lid of the churn. Height: 60cm; Diameter: 54 cm; Volume: 50 cups.
These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
