churning container; lid (food processing & storage)

Wooden container used for churning butter, which consists of two parts. Both parts are turned in a soft, light coloured wood. The lid is a flat-topped cone, with the wide end forming the top and is blocked with a small hole in the centre of the top. The lid has some grooves turned around the circumference near the top of the lid. The base is formed of a cylinder which is hollow with a solid base. There are three sets of grooves turned into the wood around the circumference.
