Tent. The roof 'el bet'. 4 plain-woven goat hair strips, sewn with goat hair and string, between 14"-19" wide; fringe of warp ends at one end. Sisal or hemp or plaited palm-leaf rope at corners and middle of all sides attached to goat hair loops, some reinforced with sacking. 2 loops have no rope, one rope loose. Side, 'ruaq'. 4 plain-woven goat strips in light and dark brown and beige beaded and plain striped, sewn with goat hair and cotton; fringe of warp ends at one end. 2 strips have decayed in many placed, where there is a light warp. 7 posts 'amud el bet'. wood stick, forked at one end. One may be ridge-pole. 7 pegs. Wood sticks, burred at one end, sharpened or scorched at other. 3 wood sticks, not definitely posts, ridge-pole or pegs. 11 pins, 'arawi'. Straight twigs, stripped of bark (bar 2) and sharpened. For pinning walls to roof.
