Undergarment in light bluish-grey crepe silk in plain weave. Open at the front without fasteners. Neck reinforced outside with a band of pale blue artificial silk, probably as a replacement, and on inside by cotton cloth. Sleeves are square and loose with an opening under the arm. The garment has been shortened and crude darts added at the bust line, possibly by a European owner. Multicoloured geometric and floral designs achieved on the cloth by the yuzen process.
