Helmet; conical, oval close-fitting cap of cane strips in 3x3 diagonal weave over cane hoops, overlaid with strips of yellow and red grasses in chevron pattern. Boar's tusk attached to each side with cotton thread, plume of animal hairs, red and black, bound onto a rattan strips by twined veg. fibre. Plaited cotton strap to go under chin, attached at one end only. Ht: 7.9"; Dia: 8.4" - 6.1".
