pubic apron

Largest part of a pubic apron, made from white, blue, red and pink beads; feathers; rattling seeds; seeds; shells; and vegetable fibre. The object is formed by a beaded flap with two strings in both upper sides, and it has tassels of feathers, beads, seeds and shells in both sides. The flap has a zig-zag pattern in the upper side and a geometric pattern on the bottom, made of blue beads. On the bottom end it has a fringe made from rattling seeds, feathers, beads and beetle wing cases. Two longer tassels of beads, seeds, feathers and thread are in the bottom corners. The object was packed together with number 1969.72b.
