Backgammon game with rectangular wooden backgammon board consisting of two trays hinged together with six points along each end and squares in the middles made by the marquetry technique and a border of veneers in marquetry technique around the edges of the top and bottom of the closed board. Inside the board are fifteen light and fifteen dark 'men' or pieces in turned wood with carved lines on the tops, two small bone dice and an instruction book in English which is not of the same origin as the board.
