Argentine ‘Gaucho Knife’. The hilt and sheath mounts are both made of engraved silver (Argentina means ‘the land of silver’ from the Latin argent = silver). The sheath is covered with red velvet.
The blades are frequently marked with details of their German or Argentinian makers.
