Pair of embroidered cotton lower sleeves. The lower third of the sleeve has a fine floral pattern worked in blue-black cotton. The top is gathered with elastic and the fabric is hand stitched together.
This type of embroidery was commonly found in rural households in the mountains of the remoter provinces such as Szechwan, Shensi and Yunnan.
