Rectangular, tapestry-woven woolen 'Two Grey Hills' rug in white, grey, brown and black. The decoration consists of a panel surrounded by a two-tone reciprocal key border in light brown and black separated by a white line. The panel contains the 2 hills represented by 2 linked, stepped diamond motifs. Each contains a central cruciform motif. The edges are reinforced with cream-coloured stitching. An attached tassel decorates each corner. The textile has been backed for suspension.
