Rectangular sample of cotton textile decorated with batik in brown and blue. The textile is seemingly from a larger cloth as it has been hemmed at the shorter sides. The texile is decorated with lotus motifs arranged in 5 rows against a patterned ground. The pattern consists of small irregular cream dots surrounded by brown. The brown is subdivided by intermittent thin blue lines creating a grid. The edges are left plain cream.
