Painted Russian doll of a peasant woman. The doll is made of turned wood and consists of two parts. The top part depicts the head and torso, and the base depicts the legs. The doll wears a red painted headscarf and carries flowers and also what looks like a toadstool. The doll is hollow and has an undecorated base. Part of a set of nesting dolls.
