Part of a tea set from Canton made from coconut shell and pewter consisting of 17 parts, namely 6 cups and saucers, a teapot, sugar bowl, milk jug, slops bowl and tea caddy. The coconut parts are carved with scrolls in very low relief and a symbol which is picked out in gold.
