Sword from Democratic Republic of the Congo, formerly Zaire. The sword has a leaf-shaped blade made from iron, with a triangle of decoration on the blade and where the blade meets the hilt. The hilt is formed gold-coloured copper alloy that is in the form of raised bands. Mid way along the hilt is a wooden disk for the guard.
