Rod puppet, wayang golek menak, on an integral wooden stand. This is a strong knight character. The red skin, bold whiskers and round eyes all suggest a character quick to anger. Head dress painted red, gold and black. Skin painted red, black painted beard, with moustache applied in black cloth. The head detaches from the body which is clothed in a blackcloth cotton jacket with long sleeves, and a long skirt in batik with vegetal design; dark blue on cream. Both arms are articulated and operated by wooden rods.
