kilim; textile

Small rectagular multicoloured kilim decorated with a pictorial centre panel surrounded by a black border. The cut warp ends at both shorter sides of the textile created fringing. The decoration on the panel contains a large red and green camel. At the level of the legs are three standing human figures. Another figure appears to be seated on the camel's back. Above the camel are 2 semi-abstract bird-motifs, and what appears to be a four-legged creature. At top and bottom end of this picture are reciprocate dentate bands in turquoise, yellow and red.
