Man's black velvet jacket with two front pockets and a Mandarin collar. It has extensive, commercially made applied braid (gold-coloured, white and red) including around the collar, cuffs, along the top of the pockets, and in a 'U' shape around the neckline, both front and back. It is secured with six press studs and decorated with six round, domed gold-coloured metal buttons. It is fully lined with a black synthetic twill fabric. [Textile]
