Composite trolling fish hook of s pearl shell with its shank cut from the hinge section of the shell and pierced through one ridge for the attachment of its line. A second piece of pearl shell has been ground to form the hook and pierced through for the attachment of its fine hibiscus fibre binding. This binding is trimmed off at a length of 50mm approx. To create a tuft which serves as a lure.
