Long, cream-coloured woman's cotton sash. It has identical embroidered panels at each end. These comprise a diamond lattice pattern, worked in red, black and yellow woollen threads on a linen ground. Bordering the linen centre field the embroidery has a crenellated edge. The decoration is edged with a strip of applied red cotton fabric. There is a long applied fringe using corded theads in the same colours as the embroidery. The long selvedges have been blanket stitched with black woollen thread and there is a small repeating square-shaped motif, outlined in black, with a small motif inside - orange-red on one side, purple on the other.
