Pill box-shaped hat. It is made of red velvet with a circular piece of green velvet (mostly worn away) in the centre of the crown. Most of the crown and all of the sides are decorated with multi-coloured silk threads: pink, yellow, orange, black and two tones of green. Other individual threads are multicoloured. The inside of the hat is lined with red calico and stiffened with card. [Textile]
