Woman's square scarf. Pattern containing buta, flowers and foliage is printed onto a cream ground. A machine-made lace trim is sewn onto all four edges, together with short, multi-coloured tassels, small white beads and silver-coloured sequins. One edge of the scarf has the words 'liube elena' [transliterated] (meaning love elena (?)) embroidered in coloured silks. [Textile]
