Deep purple and cream-coloured sash. One warp end is turned over and machine hemmed. The other warp end has overcast stitching to secure the weft and thin fringing, which is formed by twisting and securing with a single knot. The patterning is a diamond twill, woven in blocks, in cream cotton. Towards the machine end the patterning is confined to two white chevron stripes at each selvedge. [Textile]
