Man's black pill box hat. It has machinery embroidery on the crown, black thread on black cotton fabric. In the centre is a multi-petalled flower motif, surrounded by concentric circles of black stitching. The sides are similarly stitched, with a central pattern of diamond and oval shapes. The hat has a stiff lining and the inside is undyed cream-coloured wool.
