Shuttle constructed from 2 curved horn sides. The round pegs of darker horn(?) insert at either end secure the sides to it. The ends of the textile tool are capped by an iron tip. It is secured by the narrow ends which are hooked through the sides. A thin metal pin is inserted through the centre to hold the spool.
