A pair of boxes, both made of wood with an iron lock and hinge. The surface of the objects are painted with a floral and zigzag design. These designs are only painted onto the front-sides of the boxes and have a reddish background. The reddish background is also painted on the other surfaces of the boxes, apart from the rear-end and the base, which are left undecorated. Both boxes have a hinged lid and sit on lengths of wood which run width-ways at either end. One box however only has one length of wood. The keys for the boxes are not present and might be missing.
