Rectangular, tabby-woven, cream-coloured linen sample decorated with multicoloured embroidery. According to the register the textile is the front of a blouse. The decoration consists of a striped centre panel, and almost identical borders on both longer sides. The panel contains 9 floral-patterned stripes worked in brown cross stitch with pink, blue, yellow, orange and green detailling. These are bisected by a pointed band created by 2 diagonals, containing brown squares, each with a coloured X-shape at its centre. The border consists of a centre decorated with S-shaped motifs contained within linked diamond outlines. It is framed with a toothed stripe on both sides. On the outside edge is an additional strip containing bands of different colours.
