Square tabby-woven cotton textile created by appliquè in white, green, brown, and black. The black centre panel is embroidered in pink, turquoise, purple, light and dark brown, red, green, and blue cross stitch. They create a grid of 48 rectangles decorated with the same motif in 2 alternating colourways. The panel is surrounded with 4 appliquèd borders, alternating between green and black reciprocal dentate patterned, and plain blue. The patterned borders are framed by thin white, and brown borders. The outer border creates a narrow frame around the white backing on the reverse.
