Square tabby-woven cotton textile created by appliquè in white, green, yellow, and black. The centre panel is framed by 3 borders. It contains a central X-shaped motif, surrounded by scalloped yellow rings, and a triangular shape in each corner of the black ground. The panel, and the inner 2 borders are edged with narrow white and green frames. The inner one contains repeats of the central X-shaped motifs. The middle border is decorated with yellow, and black reciprocal dentate patterns. The outer, plain black border creates a narrow frame around the white backing on the reverse.
