Square tabby-woven cotton textile created by appliquè in white, light and dark blue. Additional decoration consists of embroidered detailing in turquoise, orange and green. The design consists of a centre panel surrounded with 4 borders. The panel contains both appliquèd and embroidered patterning. Each of the inner 3 border is either decorated with embroidery or appliquè. They are followed by a thin white, and dark blue border. The outermost border is plain dark blue. This also creates a narrow border around the white backing on the reverse.
