Rectangular floor felt with multicoloured, embroidered decoration on one side. The textile is sewn together from smaller, different coloured sections, forming a centre panel and 2 borders. The decoration on the panel consists of 3 diamond shapes and 8 traingular shapes. The diamonds are embroidered with 4 diamonds. Each contains a ring of inward pointing convolutes surrounding a central motif. The triangular shapes are decorated with 2 angled bands of convolutes. The patterned border is decorated with diamond- shaped motifs. The plain border is edged with a woven braid, ending in a tassel in each corner.
