ritual & belief: cult of the dead; textile

Textile in the form a swan, a replica of one found in Pazyryk tomb, Siberia. The model is made form light and dark brown, and pink felt sewn together with cream cotton(?) thread. The body head and feet are stuffed. The wings consist of an embroidered top section (attached to the back), and 2 cut bottom sections representing the feathers.
