Component in the form of a belt for a tablet loom. It consists of a banded woollen textile with leather loops sewn on at both ends. A section near the centre is re-inforced with red, and green cotton textile. The warp dominant, woollen banding contains a dark brown centre framed in yellow. The edges are fraying and have been secured with stitching. The red patch consists of a weft faced tabby-woven textile. The green consists of twill, mainly applied inside out. Both are attached with widely spaced basting stitches.
