Man's summer dragon robe, jifu, of kesi, or slit tapestry, silk with horse hoof cuffs. Fastened on the right with five pairs of metal knot-loop buttons. Slit at lower front and back. Mainly blue background, embroidered on the front with three large dragons, two on shoulders, amidst clouds with ruyi head design, cranes, and bats. The eight Daoist emblems appear, near the shoulders are the lotus, rhinoceros horn, scroll, fan, and gourd, while below the chest are the sword, castanets, bamboo tube and rods. In the middle section is a flower basket with peaches and a flute, above a mountain, rocks, waves, clouds, with axe head, pearl, scroll and fungus. The border along the neck, front of chest and cuffs has motifs of dragon, bats and clouds. The robe is lined with turquoise satin. The turned back cuffs are lined with bright blue patterned silk satin with butterfly and floral motifs.
