Small almost square hanging in the form of a woven cotton textile decorated with wax resist imagery. The textile has one selvedge and 3 cut sides. The decoration consists of a turquoise and white frame surrounding a figure riding on an elephant. The outlines have been kept white, but the figures have been coloured in mottled red, brown, green and yellow. The background has been dyed in blue-black.
