Rectangular sample of cotton decorated with batik in blue and red. The textile appears to be from a larger cloth as both shorter sides appear to be unfinished. The decoration consists of repeat motifs of irregular shapes outlined in dark blue on a veined ground. The motifs have either a light-coloured ground with red and blue concentric circles and irregular shapes or a dark blue ground with a light inner outline and rings containing dotted blue or red circles.
