Small figure of Ganesha seated on a cushion on an integral square plinth. The upper pair of arms is holding attributes, while one of the lower pair of arms is holding something towards the trunk, and the other one is raised in 'reassurance'. Rat beside left knee. Soles of feet against one another indicative of Javanese origin. Cast from copper alloy with some incised detail.

Collection Information

These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
