Figure of a Thai temple dancer, made of gilded copper alloy. The figure is of a female dancer on her right tiptoe, with the left leg bent up behind, and both arms reaching to the low left. She is dressed in a tall, pointed headdress with 'wings'. There is jewellery on her neck and arms, and she wears a long skirt, and slippers with turned up toes. The figure stands on a black painted wooden plinth.

Collection Information

These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
