Rectangular sample consisting of a strip of tabby-woven, brown cotton textile block printed with patterns in red and black ink. The decoration consists of squares with 2 alternating patterns. One contains a pattern of linked star-shaped motifs created by small black triangles. The other contains a natural-coloured, cruciform floral motif with red detailling on a black ground.
