There will be no through route in the Gardens on Saturday 19 April, and the Gardens are open on Saturday to Spring Fair ticket holders only. Museum visitors need to enter and exit via London Road.
One of nine metal carving tools that belong with a group of four stone figures of Hanuman, depicting four stages of the carving process. This tool is the longest and has a triangular point, with sharp edges. The other end is coated with orange pigment and has a hole through it, presumably for hanging or attaching together.
These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
