One of nine metal carving tools that belong with a group of four stone figures of Hanuman, depicting four stages of the carving process. It has a toothed saw edge the whole way along one side and tapers towards one end. The larger end is coated with orange pigment and has a hole through it, presumably for hanging or attaching together.
These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
