anorak

An anorak with a high collar below which is a long beaded panel covering the shoulders. The body and sleeves are of machine-woven fabric of blue and purple patterned with large purple roses. The cuffs are covered with a panel of multi-coloured glass beads in a geometric pattern, ending with a black fur trim. The collar is a wide band of black fur, below which the long beaded section hangs over the shoulders and down to the chest. The beading at the top is dense, widening into looser netting toward the bottom. The lower border of the anorak has three rows of applied black ribbon embroidered with puce flowers and gold patterning.
