The Horniman Museum will be closed from 24-26 December. The Horniman Gardens will be closed 25 December only.
Pot and lid for a coconut made of copper alloy. The pot is round with a turned out rim. The pot is decorated with six round panels with raised decoration. The panels depict people, animals and floral designs. There is a flower on the base. The lid is stepped with a plain rim. The top is decorated with a human face.
These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
