Rectangular tabby-woven cotton textile decorated with white resisted motifs on an indigo ground. A narrower strip has been sewn onto the main textile to create greater height. The shorter ends have unfinished edges. Geometric, curvilinear, circular, and pictorial motifs have been interspersed with a repeat motif consisting of a pattern reminiscient of a windmill (toy). The pictorial motifs include various animals and at least one human-like figure. This textile has a field containing a beetle- or spider-like motif in the bottom row. Remnants of the plant fibre (raffia?) stitches used in the tie-dyeing process are attached in places.
