Iron padlock and key. The padlock is a box lock with a shackle with a cylindrical arm. On the side of the lock is a rectangular hole for the key. The key is formed from a long strip of iron with one end rounded with a pierced hole and the other end has a shoulder with cut out sections that fit into the lock mechanism.
These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
