Wall hanging, a large, multicoloured, embroidered and machine stitched square panel. Two sand-coloured rectangular panels are stitched together and embroidered with a symmetric, geometric pattern of red, green and orange thread edged with blue, green, beige and grey chain stitch. Four 45 mm wide black strips decorated with a beige, machine stitched zig-zag pattern and edged with burgundy cotton decorated with a black, machine stitched zig-zag pattern are sewn to the edge of the interior square panel. The reverse side has an 80mm wide grey band of fabric along the edge of the panel on which there is evidence of a black fabric backing having been removed. The central embroidered piece has no backing panel.There is a yellow, blue and red tassle attached by a multicoloured braided cord attached to one corner of the panel..
