glove puppet

Glove puppet of a girl with stylised features including large eyes; a rose-bud mouth and black hair painted onto a head probably made from papier mache. She is dressed in a red hood (possibly made from rayon) which is trimmed around the face with a golden, glittery fabric. She wears a factory made, velvet-effect ikat robe with long sleeves in red, green, yellow and purple. The cuffs are trimmed with glittery braid in gold, pink and green. Her hands have been made from padded, beige fabric. She may represent a heroine, perhaps Cinderella/Zumrat in splendour.
