Long, rectangular, tabby-woven cotton hanging decorated with cream-coloured and light brown batik on a blue-black ground. The decoration on the textile consists of a centre panel depicting four characters from the Mahabharata as used in wayang shadow theatre. They include Bima, with his characteristic long nails, and beside him, Arjuna to one side of a central sawat motif. Above the figures and sawat are six small garudas. The panel is surrounded by three patterned borders. The outer two contain different motifs in the corner squares.
