Doll with head and base made of wood and hands of linen. The figure represents a mature woman in Cracovian traditional clothes. Certain pieces of the dress evoke the traditional style. The figure holds a prayer book in her right hand and a rosary in her left hand. The doll is dressed in a bodice, skirt, high boots and a checkered kerchief covering the back. The doll’s head is covered with a tulle scarf. It has schematic facial features. The doll stands on a circular wooden base, with a maker’s signature in pencil on the bottom of the base and a label indicating the origin of the object: ‘Magazyn: Centrala Przemyslu Artystycznego’ with a symbol of the product and stamp MADE IN POLAND.
