Kanaga mask with projecting plank, triangular eyeholes and triangular cut-out decoration. Painted white, black and blue (the blue is very friable) in geometric patterns, with the number 2 on the plank. The plank has two sets of four holes for attaching the arm pieces; there is a rope netting behind the head section.
Mask commissioned for the younger brother of Aguidé to dance at the Ireli Dama of 1999. Two kanaga were commissioned from the same artist. The mask was painted by Aguidé. The number two was added after a debate amongst youths of this quarter as to who was the best dancer.
